Role summary, The role is responsible for establishing and managing the total quality system for the Pre-Assembly manufacturing lines. It focuses on driving continuous quality and delivery improvements, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements, and providing technical support to resolve quality issues. The position also supports production teams through problem‑solving, SPC application, and operational training. Job Responsibilities Own and manage all quality KPIs—including IQC performance, DPPM, complaint reduction, audit readiness, and customer quality requirements. Hands‑on expertise in root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving methodologies (8D, FMEA, fault tree analysis, GR&R, 3x5 why, etc.). Work closely with supplier quality and purchasing to manage supplier performance and material qualification. Collaborate with NPI teams to ensure successful new product introduction with strong Safe Launch and proactive risk assessment. Maintain and improve quality control plans, inspection standards, and process capability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance defect detection effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical fields. 8+ years of semiconductor backend experience, with 3–5 years in quality management or engineering leadership. Strong knowledge of pre‑assembly processes, including wafer incoming, BG, dicing, taping, VIS, and T&R. Proficiency in quality tools and statistical analysis (SPC, DOE, JMP, GR&R). Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Data‑driven decision‑making with strong ownership and problem‑solving capability.
