Description Summary: The primary function of this position is to inspect, remove, and replace damaged parts; and provide quality components for the Builder/Drivetrain Technicians to complete the assembly process. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Receives direction from team leads on priority units Polish all seal surface areas Assemble main shaft assemblies for Builder/Drivetrain Technicians Stage pre-assembled units for Builder/Drivetrain Technicians Maintain a clean and safe workspace, properly disposing of worn parts Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop Requirements Qualifications: Basic automotive or mechanical skills Familiarity and/or use of power tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop
Responsibilities
The Pre Assembly Technician inspects, removes, and replaces damaged parts to ensure quality components for assembly. They also polish seal surfaces and stage pre-assembled units for Builder/Drivetrain Technicians.
