POSITION SCOPE AND OVERVIEW

The Pre-Construction Coordinator facilitates, coordinates, and tracks joint use activities and documents necessary to carry out make-ready construction activities and subsequent licensing. This role manages and tracks joint use applications through make-ready construction and proactively works to establish relationships with pole owners and related contractors. Other responsibilities include maintaining and tracking pole attachment costs and records for annual budget forecasting. Activities will include joint use application, oversight of make ready engineering and construction activities, coordination of joint use ride outs, and coordination of as-built verification.

Essential Functions

  • Works in partnership with engineers and construction team on all facets of joint use application processing for fiber installations.
  • Completes purchase requisitions for applications, licensing, and make-ready work.
  • Reviews final invoices, as-builts and close-out documents for accuracy, addressing discrepancies with the vendor.
  • Coordinates make ready field work.
  • Forecasts upcoming work to contract partners as well as the engineering and construction teams at Greenlight Networks.
  • Identifies barriers to timely completion of make ready work and license approval, keeping relevant parties informed, and troubleshooting resolutions to decrease delays and/or expenses.
  • Assists with process & data management for joint use related activities.
  • Attend meetings with joint pole/structure owner(s) and related 3rd party agencies/contractors.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly rate for this role is between $26.00 - $35.00 an hour. The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
