Overview:
As a Pre-Construction Executive in our Renewable Energy Division, you will provide executive oversight of all pre-construction activities for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects. You will ensure organizational alignment, process efficiency, and project readiness by overseeing project intake, estimating, engineering coordination, permitting, utility interconnection, and subcontractor management. Your leadership will be critical in driving operational excellence, establishing consistent standards, and preparing projects for seamless transition into construction.
Responsibilities:

As an FSG Pre-Construction Executive, you will:

• Oversee the intake and feasibility process, ensuring projects are constructable, saleable, and aligned with customer and company objectives.
• Ensure accurate and competitive estimating practices, validating cost assumptions and supporting strategic procurement decisions.
• Provide executive leadership to Pre-Construction Managers, Estimators, and Engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
• Drive coordination between Operations, Pre-Construction and Engineering teams, ensuring timely and compliant design deliverables.
• Oversee permitting and interconnection activities, maintaining strong relationships with AHJs and utilities.
• Establish standards for subcontractor qualification, scope development, and bid evaluation to mitigate risk.
• Ensure construction handoffs are accurate, complete, and aligned with FSG’s operational standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for pipeline readiness, estimating accuracy, and pre-construction efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in pre-construction processes, tools, and documentation.
• Foster collaboration across Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Operations to achieve seamless project delivery.
