JOB SUMMARY:

As a Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician, you will be working in the truck body industry, performing a variety of tasks related to truck and van bodies. Your position will be crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent..
  • Some knowledge of automotive mechanics, including electrical.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Attention to detail to ensure precise installation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Physical capability to lift components and work in various positions throughout the day.
  • Follow safety standards and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and as part of a team.

    Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Inspect new vehicle fluids levels, tire inflation, and lighting operation.
  • Installation of wheel/hub covers and antenna.
  • Removal of all protective covers.
  • Removal of all shipping labeling.
  • Installation of any special add-ons by primary dealer.
  • Filling out all manufacturer PDI forms.
  • Keep tools and work area clean and organized, ensuring proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist in the cleaning of various areas as needed.
  • Any other tasks designated necessary by the shop foreman or Plant Manager.
