What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a passionate, relationship-driven Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Instructor to work directly with students with disabilities in local schools. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in educational settings, enjoys building community partnerships, and is motivated by student success. You will act as a vital connector between students, schools, parents, and vocational rehabilitation teams to prepare young people for meaningful employment and post-school life. Position Details: Full-time Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4:30pm Occasional weekend day or evening required As a Pre-ETS Instructor, You’ll Spend Your Days… Collaborating with school faculty and being fully embedded in school culture Guiding students through employment preparation activities like job shadows and workplace readiness Building and maintaining relationships with community partners for job training opportunities Conducting assessments and tracking student progress and outcomes Supporting students and families with goal-setting and post-graduation planning Accurately documenting services, maintaining records, and entering case notes in the Pre-ETS portal Participating in professional development and cross-training opportunities Transporting students for summer programs or job shadowing (agency vehicle provided) Ideal Experience, Background, and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, sociology, or human services (preferred, not required) 2+ years’ experience in education, vocational support, or disability services (preferred, not required) Knowledge or experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Experience in school settings or with transition-aged youth Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple student schedules Ability to critically assess needs, plan next steps, and work with diverse teams Traveling regularly to schools and job sites in the Alexandria, Lapel, and Frankton area (vehicle provided by the agency) Adaptable, collaborative, and values inclusive practices Why Work With Us Purpose-Driven Work: Join a team passionate about making a tangible impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Traveling regularly to schools and job sites in the Alexandria, Lapel, Elwood, and Frankton area (vehicle provided by the agency) Valid Driver’s License and agency insurability Strong interpersonal communication and listening skills Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic data entry Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 40 lbs. Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as needed
