Position Summary Engineering Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, documentation, and execution of TAB projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with field technicians, engineering staff, and project stakeholders. All Position Accountabilities TAB Planning & Documentation: Develop comprehensive TAB test plans, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Pre-TAB Data Entry: Accurately enter Pre-TAB data into designated platforms, such as Airbnb or other company-specific software. Request for Information (RFI) Management: Draft and submit clear and concise RFIs to address information gaps or resolve project ambiguities. Field Support & Job Turnovers: Collaborate with field technicians to facilitate smooth job turnovers and ensure seamless project completion. Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise on job sites by working directly with field technicians and project teams. Technical Development: Engage with engineering staff to enhance technical knowledge and improve job performance. Position Specific Requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. NEBB or AABC Certification is preferred. Previous experience or background in TAB is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software. Working Conditions The Pre-Engineering Specialist will work in both office and field environments, collaborating with project teams and occasionally visiting job sites to support field technicians.
