Program Locations in Chappaqua, NY: Grafflin Elementary School Roaring Brook Elementary School PAY: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am Afternoon Program: 2:15 - 6:00 pm Opportunities available for morning, afternoon, or both programs. What Success Looks Like Program Quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Program’s model and families consistently choose to re-enroll Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day Inventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Candidates must meet one of the following: Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field. Child Development Associate Credential or another Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience). 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or other Office recognized credential (with 2 years of experience). QUALIFICATIONS: Must be medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB). Demonstrates a positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with children, parents, and team members. Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance. Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children.
