The Pre-Litigation Case Manager Paralegal serves as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-litigation phase. This role is responsible for introducing clients to the process, maintaining ongoing communication, and ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained. The Case Manager plays a vital role in supporting attorneys, helping clients navigate their claims, and ensuring each case progresses efficiently and smoothly toward resolution. As a Case Manager, you will: Contact clients to inform them when their case has entered the pre-litigation stage. Clearly explain the pre-litigation process, including expectations, advantages, and potential challenges. Provide clients with their demand letters, secure approval for submission, and process edits or revisions as requested. Follow up consistently with clients to confirm receipt of demand letters and obtain timely responses. Accurately and thoroughly document all communications in internal systems and ensure records are up to date. Maintain proactive follow-ups to keep cases on track and progressing smoothly. Actively communicate with management regarding client updates, case status, and any challenges impacting progress. Ensure all client interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and alignment with the firm’s service standards. As a Case Manager, you have: Strong communication and client service skills, with prior client-facing experience preferred. Ability to explain complex legal processes in clear, simple, and empathetic terms. Highly organized with excellent follow-up, time management, and attention to detail. Proficiency in case management software Previous experience in a legal, paralegal, or case management role strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
