With a reputation for excellence, we’re expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our Chester office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking career growth in a supportive and dynamic legal environment.
We’re looking for a confident and articulate individual with strong telephone communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally. While previous personal injury capture experience is advantageous, it’s not essential – what matters most is your ability to follow established processes, use initiative when needed, and communicate effectively with a wide range of people, from colleagues to solicitors.

Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload of pre-litigated files from inception to conclusion.
  • Work collaboratively within a close-knit team, bringing enthusiasm and drive to a progressive firm offering clear career advancement.
  • Progress files by arranging medical reports, maintaining client communication, disclosing documentation, negotiating settlements, or issuing proceedings in line with internal protocols.
  • Effectively manage client expectations throughout the claims process.
  • Use our in-house case management system (Proclaim) to communicate with clients, insurers, expert witnesses, and solicitors.
  • Instruct experts and prepare court bundles when required.
  • Responsible for billing and recovery of fees in accordance with guidance.
  • Handle matters efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Maintain financial oversight and control over all client matters.
  • Accurately record chargeable hours, meeting or exceeding your set targets.
  • Regularly bill in accordance with client care agreements and firm policy.
  • Recognise and act upon opportunities to cross-sell additional legal services offered by the firm.
