Lone Star Neurology is a growing outpatient clinic with 16 locations in Texas. Our practice is committed to education and excellence, assisting patients and their families through compassionate care and cutting-edge treatment. We are looking for a candidate who is interested in spending a gap year at our Frisco office to build their clinical expertise and learn about neurology.
We are looking for a candidate that wants to participate in clinical activities with the goal of building a long term career in medicine. We welcome candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Sciences, Neurosciences, and with the goal of entering into a PA program, nursing program, or medical school.

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor in person and on the phone
• Able to work independently and with a team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Rooming patients
• Checking vitals
• Verifying patient information
• Cleaning and preparing patient rooms
• Handling patient calls
• Scanning & processing documents

OTHER SKILLS:

• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Strong teamwork mentality
• BLS Certification
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week
