PRE-PRESS PLANNER

As one of the UK’s fastest-growing printers, Solopress is always looking for great people to join our very friendly, hardworking team. Due to continued expansion, we are now looking for an experienced Pre-Press Planner to join us here in Southend on Sea, Essex.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and plan pre-supplied artwork for digital and lithographic print output (B1 & B2 formats).
• Collaborate closely with Pre-Press and wider Production departments to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.
• Use imposition software to prepare files for press, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Experienced in using Enfocus Pitstop
• Familiar with imposition tools such as Kodak Prinergy and EPS Metrix (or similar)
• A strong understanding of print production processes
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
