Description

The Pre-Registration Access Representative is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance, and medical information, identifying services requiring authorization for treatment and referral information. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy. Diploma or GED * 1 year of experience in customer service, hospital billing, or healthcare registration. * 6 months of Clerical and computer experience. Preferred qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) * Healthcare experience in a hospital or clinical setting, health insurance or medical office.
