ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician to join our team and train towards becoming a fully qualified Pharmacy Technician. This is a two-year training post designed to support you through the nationally recognised qualification required to register as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You’ll work closely with our small, supportive team and gain hands-on experience across all areas of community pharmacy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the pharmacist and wider team in the safe, efficient, and effective running of the pharmacy
• Dispense and supply prescribed medicines with accuracy and care
• Offer excellent customer service, providing advice and assistance where appropriate
• Maintain stock control and help manage pharmaceutical ordering systems
• Learn to handle prescription queries and liaise with healthcare professionals
• Undertake all required training, coursework, and assessments as part of your pre-registration programme
