We are currently looking for a Pre- Sales SLIMS Software Application Specialist (m/f/d) to join the Application Team .

• You will be a member of a professional team of Application Specialists in the EMEA Agilent’s Commercial Sales & Application Organization (CASO).

• You will work closely with the Sales Team and other Application Specialists to support the sales process by demonstrating our software to customers & developing workflows to help them automate their procedures and better track their activities.You will be the expert on our SLIMS software for related products. It is therefore important that you are technically strong, proactive, communicative and a teammate.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer Science or Life Sciences Master Degree or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience with Lab Informatics systems for Analytical Labs (LIMS, ELN, CDS, LES), especially in GMP related environments. Experience in selling such solutions is a plus.
• Good understanding and appetite to participate in conversations for digitalizing lab processes
• Skills in small coding for integrations is a plus (such as Java)
• Laboratory experience whether it be in Analytical, Pharma, Biopharma, Genomics, NGS, etc is a plus
• Excellent presentation, communication (written & oral) and customer-facing skills are required.
• Willingness to travel (throughout Europe) up to 50%.
• Fluent verbal & written English skills. German is a plus.

• Understand customer needs & recommend solutions.
• Apply existing solutions to customer workflows or develop new ones to demonstrate Agilent’s Lab Software portfolio.
• Communicate and position solutions through presentations at customer sites or marketing activities.
• Support sales teams with product expertise and contribute to SLIMS-related trainings
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to influence product development and strategy.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to maintain expert knowledge.
• Collaborate with sales teams to exceed SLIMS business sales targets.
