SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven pre-sales experience within the IT channel, distributor, or vendor environment.
  • Background of networking (switching, routing, wireless) and data centre solutions (servers, storage, virtualisation).
  • Understanding of security, cloud integration, and hybrid IT environments.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business benefits.
  • Any vendor certifications such as HPE Aruba ACMP or equivalent are desirable.
  • Experience working with key strategic vendors in networking and data centre markets.
  • Familiarity with solution design tools and pre-sales proposal platforms.
  • Technically credible and commercially astute.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player with the ability to work across sales, marketing, and technical functions.
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.

    Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking an energetic and committed customer-focused Pre-Sales Engineer with a background in networking and data centre technologies. The role will work closely with their internal sales teams and channel customers to understand technical requirements, design solutions, and promote strategic vendor technologies across the market.
You will be instrumental in penetrating target accounts, showcasing vendor capabilities, and supporting sales teams with the technical knowledge and credibility needed to win new business.
