Devsinc, a leading software development agency, is on the lookout for an exceptional Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. This role will report directly to the SVP of Sales Engineering. Devsinc specializes in delivering a range of technology solutions through staff augmentation, dedicated teams, and complete software outsourcing. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively convey technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. As a Presales Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales process, ensuring that our solutions meet customer needs and requirements. Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept activities. Solution Design: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions that meet their business needs. Proposal Development: Assist the sales team in developing technical proposals, including solution architecture, technical specifications, and implementation plans. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their technical challenges and requirements, and provide appropriate technical solutions and recommendations. RFP/RFI Responses: Prepare and deliver detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring that all customer requirements are addressed. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations and insights. Sales Support: Assist the sales team with technical inquiries and strategy development to drive sales and revenue growth. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales, presales, or solutions engineering role. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. Customer-Focused: Ability to build strong relationships with customers and understand their technical needs and challenges. Team Player: Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
