JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about helping businesses find the right solutions? Join our team as a Pre-Sales Technical Support, where you’ll play a key role in driving growth, supporting sales teams, and delivering expert guidance on our products and services.
As a Pre-Sales Technical Support subject matter expert, you’ll be the go-to expert for bank products and services across a designated region or industry segment. You’ll support both direct and indirect sales efforts by delivering tailored consultations, compelling presentations, and strategic proposals. You’ll lead the Deal Review Process, ensuring solutions align with client needs and business objectives, while building strong relationships with customers, industry associations, and internal teams.
In this dynamic role, you’ll help shape market-level strategies that enhance corporate marketing programs, monitor competitive trends, and identify growth opportunities. You’ll also collaborate across sales support, marketing, and product teams to implement localized plans that drive results and reflect unique market needs—all while keeping your finger on the pulse of the industry.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically, five to eight years of relevant experience

  • Thorough knowledge of assigned geographical area, competitive market, banking operations and U.S. Bancorp’s products and services
  • Thorough knowledge of the bank’s sales and marketing program
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and creative skills
  • Good organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade others
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of gateway products (CenPos is plus)
  • Considerable knowledge of sales and sales strategies

  • Effective customer service/relations skills
  • Ability to make important decisions independently
