YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required, e.g. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Min. 5 years professional experience in Proposal Management, Pre-Sales or as Solution Architect ideally in a Payroll/Cloud firm
  • Have a holistic understanding of both the operational and scope aspects of the HCM market
  • Experience with stakeholder management and client engagement as well as Project Delivery
  • Demonstrates a good overall understanding of all business areas including Sales, Product, Legal, Finance & HR
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
  • Strong presentation skills

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Pre-Sales Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful positioning of our SAP HR services and solutions. You will be the expert for the technical architecture, ensuring it aligns with client requirements and Zalaris best practices. In this role you will support the full sales cycle working in close partnership with our Sales team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Our Pre-Sales Manager will work closely with the Sales/KAM to define the commercial strategy.
  • Pre-Sales will lead the development of the solution architecture and develop a deep and broad understanding of our products including the technical aspects. The Pre-Sales Manager will define with the best solution to be proposed to the customer.
  • The Pre-Sales Manager is customer focused, provides responses to customer questions, delivers customer presentations, discusses possible solutions with the customers.
  • As Pre-Sales you are responsible to demonstrate our Product Suite, you provide feedback on the demo systems and the content of the demo scripts depending on customer feedback.
  • Our Pre-Sales Manager takes care of bidding and act as Proposal Manager ensuring the quality of the bid and is responsible for answering RFQ’s, RFI’s and RFP’s.
  • The Pre-Sales Manager will participate in vendor presentations typically at the customer location.
  • Works closely with the Sales Manager to define the commercial pricing strategy for a bid. He will calculate the financial elements related to the offer (TCV, IYR, costs and margins) and provide these to sales/AD.
