PRE-SALES NETWORK ENGINEER OFTEN REFERRED TO AS CUSTOMER SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

This is a fast-paced, challenging pre-sales network engineering role for someone with several years’ technical experience in some or all of the following: SD-WAN, Cloud Based Management Applications, Cisco, Meraki, Aurba, Palo Alto, Juniper, Arista, and Network experience designing & or configuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting networks.
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic professional who is comfortable meeting with our customers to help support our services with mid-sized to Fortune 2000 companies. You will be responsible for technical support on engagement activities with new and existing customers to assist Account Directors around creative solutions we can deliver to enable their business.
Acuative is seeking a technical resource to assist with current and future customers who has experience in a pre-sales network engineer position. This position is a technical sales resource for new business developers and hunters and serves as the point of contact to educate prospective and existing customers about the full suite of solutions leveraging pieces of technology to bring about beneficial solution to our clients such as network services, the UCAAS portfolio, managed services for LAN/WAN/Security, professional advisory services and implementation and maintenance services. This role will provide valuable insights into market trends, gain an understanding of clients’ business-impacting challenges, and make recommendations to support clients’ strategic initiatives through technology advancement and road mapping in both short- and long-term timeframes.
Must Have:
- 3+ years of network engineering experience
- Ability to travel - 25%
Education: / Qualifications:
- BSEE, BSCSE, BSCE, BSCS, or equivalent (Masters preferred, not required)
- Understanding of new and emerging technology trends in Managed Services, SD-WAN , Digital Media, Wireless 5G and Managed Mobility
Must be an expert in three (3) of the following technology solution areas:
- Wide Area Network (WAN)
- Local Area Network (LAN)
- WIFI, Indoor & Outdoor
- Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC)
- Network Security
- Information Technology Systems Security
