PRE-SALES SAP ARCHITECT

VersaFile is a fast-growing software company that specializes in attachment and data archiving solutions for SAP, SuccessFactors and other Enterprise Software applications, seamlessly integrating with a variety of document management systems. Our clean core approach empowers enterprises to manage their SAP data lifecycle more efficiently and compliantly. As demand grows, we’re looking for a Pre-Sales SAP Sales Architect to join our team and play a critical role in customer success and product excellence.
We’re looking for a Pre-Sales SAP Architect with strong SAP technical expertise and a passion for solution selling. In this hybrid role, you’ll work at the intersection of technology and sales—partnering with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Solutions Architects to craft and deliver compelling SAP solution demos, guide customers through technical evaluations, and influence product adoption through deep technical insight and customer empathy.
You bring a solid SAP background, strong communication skills, and a talent for understanding customer pain points and mapping them to our SAP-integrated solutions. You are part developer, part consultant, and all about creating value.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–7 years in SAP technical roles (ABAP, BTP, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, or related).
  • Proven experience supporting SAP-centric sales cycles or working as a technical consultant.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink, SAP ILM, or SAP DMS is highly valuable.
  • Experience with SAP enhancements, custom development (BADI, user exits), and system integration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA pre-sales or implementations.
  • Background in enterprise content management (OpenText, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 or web-based UI integrations.
  • Knowledge of cloud storage and archiving platforms.
  • Previous experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales Consultant role.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to deliver high-impact, technically sound demos and presentations tailored to SAP environments (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales cycle—answering customer questions, managing proofs-of-concept, and addressing integration concerns.
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored SAP solution architectures using our document archiving platform.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with accurate and clear technical input.
  • Bridge the gap between sales and product—bringing customer feedback into product design and roadmap discussions.
  • Conduct technical workshops and discovery sessions to assess customer systems and identify integration strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP technologies, integration standards, and competitive solutions.
  • Help develop demo environments, technical documentation, solution blueprints, and implementation playbooks.
