Description
SECFORCE is an independent offensive cyber security consultancy specialised in Penetration Testing, Adversary Simulation and Advisory Consulting services. Founded in 2008 out of love and passion for the hacking craft, we have grown into a well-respected company based in London, Malta and Greece, with teams across Europe working for top-tier organisations all over the world. What started as a group of like-minded hacker friends is now one of the best technical teams around, the beating heart of our company, always looking for ways to upgrade our abilities through training programmes, conferences and time to research and self-development. Role Overview As a Pre-Sales Security Consultant, you will work closely with the sales team, technical teams, existing and prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity maturity requirements to propose appropriate solutions from our service portfolio. This is a client-facing role that requires penetration testing and adversary simulation scoping experience. You will guide clients through scoping discussions, informal threat modelling, and the design of practical, risk-aligned testing approaches. A key part of the role is helping clients understand and articulate their testing and advisory needs. You will explore technical environments and business drivers, identify relevant risks, shaping work that is realistic, impactful and aligned to the client’s cyber maturity strategy. Tasks - Lead scoping and discovery calls for penetration testing, adversary simulation and cybersecurity consultancy engagements. - Understand the technical requirements and the business drivers behind a request and translate these into realistic threat scenarios and meaningful focus areas. - Identify when complementary services provide greater assurance on their cyber maturity and work with Account Managers to position options clearly. - Identifying new testing patterns for what is "in-demand" from our existing, prospective customers and feeding that back to the business to create new services and/or service offering packages - Translate discussions into clear, well-structured Statements of Work, including scoping boundaries, test approaches, objectives and effort estimates. - Provide delivery teams with scoped rationale and background context to support effective execution. - Attend industry events, client meetings, and partner engagements as a technical representative Requirements Excellent command of English, with the ability to speak clearly, write concisely and structure complex discussions in a simplified manner. 2+ Years experience in scoping penetration testing, red teaming or offensive security consulting, with a strong understanding of how real-world attacks unfold. Strong practical understanding of common testing domains (e.g., web applications, cloud services, network infrastructure, workstation security). Experience estimating testing effort and defining realistic engagement scopes. Demonstrable client-facing experience, such as leading scoping discussions, presenting findings, running closure calls to providing technical advisory and genuine comfort communicating directly to stakeholders. Confidence in asking clarifying questions, guiding discussions and managing expectations in real time. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, tools, and industry trends Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to engage both executives and technical audiences. Ability to simplify complex topics and align solutions to business outcomes. Consultative approach with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and delivery teams and contribute technical insight to commercial discussions. Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently Comfortable with remote work and willingness to travel within the UK/EU to face to face client meetings Desirable - Previous experience in hands-on penetration testing, advisory consulting, pre-sales or client-facing solution design. - Possession of cybersecurity certifications Benefits Competitive base salary + performance-based commission Flexible working environment Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Supportive, dynamic team culture Frequent team events and trips Annual training budget
