About the role We’re looking for a commercially minded Pre-Sales Solutions consultant to lift the quality and effectiveness of how we sell. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that partners closely with our ANZ sales team on discovery, deal strategy, and solution positioning. This is a hybrid role working out of our Melbourne office 2-3 days per week and reports into our Senior Director ANZ Growth. You’ll work on complex and strategic opportunities, helping sellers deeply understand customer problems and connect them to credible, practical solutions across our Source-to-Pay platform. This is an individual contributor role for someone who understands the SaaS sales cycle, enjoys customer problem-solving, and can confidently represent how our product solves real business challenges. You’ll operate at the intersection of Sales, Solutions, and Product - influencing deal outcomes through stronger discovery, clearer solution fit, and better commercial conversations. What you'll do Discovery and deal support Join early-stage and complex sales opportunities to elevate discovery quality Support stalled or at-risk deals by diagnosing commercial, technical, or stakeholder challenges Ask high-quality questions that uncover real buyer problems, priorities, and decision drivers Translate customer needs into clear solution direction, working closely with Solutions and Product Help sellers articulate how our platform addresses customer challenges in a practical, credible way Pre-sales seller coaching Act as a trusted partner to sellers on live opportunities Challenge assumptions constructively and improve deal thinking Coach sellers on deal structure, stakeholder dynamics, and solution positioning Raise the overall standard of customer conversations across the ANZ Growth team Product and demo support Build strong working knowledge of our Source-to-Pay platform Collaborate with Solutions and Product to shape solution approaches Support and contribute to customer demos (not expected to be the primary technical demonstrator) Contribute to onboarding and uplift of new sales team members through practical, hands-on learning About you Required experience and capabilities Experience in B2B SaaS sales, pre-sales, or solutions consulting Strong discovery skills that blend commercial and product understanding Curious about products, with the ability to quickly learn how solutions work and why they matter Confidence working across and influencing Sales, Solutions, and Product teams Credibility with customers and senior internal stakeholders A problem-led, insight-driven approach to selling Structured, curious, and analytical thinker Comfortable operating in complex, multi-stakeholder deals Commercially minded with strong customer empathy Motivated by impact, quality, and improving how deals are run This role may suit someone who… Has worked in pre-sales or solutions consulting and enjoys partnering closely with sales on complex deals Is an experienced SaaS seller who excels at discovery and solutioning and wants to move away from a commission focused role.
