We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. As a Dance Instructor, you will play a crucial role in developing students’ skills, confidence, and love for dance in a supportive and creative environment. This position is not close to a station so the ideal person will be able to drive.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role within the performing arts sector.
  • Proficiency in various dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and fostering a love for dance in others.
  • Certification in dance instruction or relevant qualifications is advantageous but not essential. ISTD Ballet/Modern and Tap specifically.
  • First Aid certification and DBS checked

  • Collaborate with other instructors to develop class schedules and curriculum enhancements.
  • Ensure the studio is kept clean, safe, and well-organised for all participants.
  • Stay updated on current dance trends and techniques to continually enhance teaching methods.
