Description

he Preschool Manager will lead and inspire staff, maintain strong relationships with families and external agencies, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables every child to thrive. They will also be willing to be the designated safeguarding lead for the pre-school.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum (Level 5 or above desirable). 

• Have significant experience working within an early years setting. 

• Have previous leadership or management experience within a nursery or preschool environment. 

• Possess a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding requirements. 

• Be able to lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve excellence. 

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Have experience of managing operational, financial and administrative responsibilities. 

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. 

• Build positive relationships with children, families, staff and external partners.

• Have experiences advocating and leading SEND in a pre-school/Early Year setting.
