Volunteer Description: Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. Pre-Selected Applicant – Family Advisory Council Member THIS POSITION IS BY REFERRAL ONLY APPLICATION WILL BE DECLINED IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN REFERRED Parent Volunteers at Primary Children's Hospitals, improve outcomes by providing a parent voice on committees and projects throughout the hospital. The inclusion of parents on quality related committees and projects is becoming increasingly common and accepted at Children’s Hospitals. This volunteer position, by referral only, creates a space for patients and families in the redesign of the health care systems in which they receive their care. A willingness to share your voice, perspective, and ideas in a productive and inclusive way helps us achieve a higher standard of care. Time commitment will be variable and determined by each committee or project that Council Member has integral experience with.
