JOB SUMMARY

  • The Pre-Service Coordinator Level I is responsible for performing basic scheduling and pre-registration tasks under close supervision
  • This role assists with scheduling diagnostic tests, obtaining basic insurance information, and handling patient inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • The Level 1 Coordinator works closely with the Patient Financial Services Director to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient information while adhering to hospital policies and procedures

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPECTATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of scheduling systems and insurance processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under close supervision and follow detailed instructions
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimal experience required; prior customer service or administrative experience preferred
