Description
The Engineering & Facilities Division (EFD) is seeking a meticulous and driven professional to manage critical pre-contract activities and support the strategic procurement pipeline. This role is central to ensuring operational efficiency, governance, and precision across large-scale commercial and technical portfolios. Primary Objective: Responsible for supporting the preparation of comprehensive tender packages and driving pre-contract governance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal Business Owners to deliver accurate, complete, and business-aligned commercial documentation. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Tender Management: Solicit, review, and compile Bills of Quantities (BQ), technical scopes, specifications, and pricing schedules. Quantity Take-Offs & Technical Review: Evaluate quantity take-offs, drawings, and engineering measurements to ensure flawless consistency before tender floating. Contract Administration Support: Facilitate post-tender clarifications, manage contract commencement workflows, track variations, and handle close-out documentation. Risk & Compliance: Maintain stringent document control, ensure adherence to corporate governance policies, and identify potential commercial risks for escalation. Adaptability: Ability to immediately adapt into the current ongoing pre-contract workflows. Responsible for core tender preparation duties, cost estimation, and procurement. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a strictly related field. 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience is highly advantageous; however, high-achieving fresh graduates with a robust academic foundation in QS are welcome to apply. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel). Ability to leverage AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency is highly valued. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Outstanding analytical, numerical, and time-management skills, with a proven ability to deliver under strict tender deadlines.
