Your responsibilities will include: Scheduling & Coordination Schedule follow-up visits, labs, and new patient appointments. Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up. Precertification & Billing Support Secure prior authorizations for MRIs, CTs, and surgery cases. Coordinate referrals and notify patients about scheduled tests. Assist with billing processes, including Good Faith Estimates and FMLA paperwork. Patient Interaction & Check-In Greet patients warmly and professionally. Verify insurance, collect copays, and update registration details. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in patient records. Phone & Message Management Answer calls promptly and return messages within 24 hours. Direct calls appropriately and assist with triage. Requirements What We’re Looking For Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 1 year in a hospital or clinical setting with Medical Assistant Experience preferred. Skills: Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
