Description

Border Plains Equipment, a certified Case IH dealer in Stanley, ND, is looking for a top notch individual to perform and provide quality maintenance and repairs on all types of agricultural equipment, including technical support to ensure customers receive timely and effective help to resolve issues and questions with their precision farming technologies. A great candidate is one who likes to problem-solve, is a continuous learner and has a dedicated work ethic.

Team Contribution:

  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of farm equipment
  • Provide continuous company wide precision/advanced farming sales support, integration, and training to parts, service and sales department staff in ways that increase their selling capabilities and performance.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and rules
  • Quality and customer service oriented
  • Promoting team Values through effective interaction with team members

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment
  • 2+ years of precision/advanced farming experience
  • Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Good people, communication, time management and organizational skills

Requirements:

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and perform mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment
  • Track details and prepare reports/forms in conjunction with assigned work orders
  • Follow all necessary schedules/requirements for completion of tasks
  • Use of electronic diagnostic tools, electronic parts catalogs, and other sources of information

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical mobility including being able to lift up to 60 pounds unaided
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to manage different environmental smells
