Field 2 Field Agronomy Inc. is now accepting applications for the position of PRECISION AGRONOMIST for South-Central Manitoba.As a member of our crop consulting team, the position will take a lead role in implementing, managing and growing our SWAT Mapping and Variable Rate business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Degree or Diploma in agriculture or related field.
· Knowledge of soils, soils and water and soil fertility are an asset.
· Proven experience in customer contact, sales, and in-field experience.
· Ability to work both independently and as a member of a highly motivated team.
· A requisite to be creative and resourceful.
· Must have the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written.
· Required to have a valid Driver’s License.
· A Certified Crop Advisor designation and Professional Agrologist status is considered an asset.

· Develop, implement, maintain and grow the SWAT Mapping and Variable Rate customer list, providing our customers with relevant, timely, accurate mapping, ground truthing and VR prescriptions.
· Along with the Field 2 Field Agronomy Team, organize soil sampling and interpretation of results for SWAT Mapping zones and develop accurate prescriptions for fields.
· Conduct field activities on SWAT Mapped VR fields such as field scouting to monitor plant counts and overall health of the crop by zone.
· Efficiently facilitate strong communication with key Precision Technology leads from equipment companies and software companies.
· Effectively facilitate strong communication with all Field 2 Field Agronomists and SWAT Mapping and Variable customers.
· Adherence to general health and safety.
· An interest in continuing both personal and professional development.
