SUMMARY

We are seeking a Precision Farming Specialist to join our dynamic team at Equipment Ontario. This position is essential in supporting sales, service, and parts departments while working directly with customers to implement and support advanced farming solutions. This role is pivotal in driving adoption of precision systems by delivering expertise, training, and personalized support, ensuring customers and internal teams understand and benefit from cutting-edge ag tech tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education in Information Technology, Agronomy, Agriculture Business, Equipment Service, or related fields (Diploma, Degree, or Apprenticeship preferred).
  • Familiarity or experience with precision agriculture systems (e.g., CNH, Trimble, Outback, Raven) is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Previous experience in parts, service, or technician roles is considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the subject matter expert for precision farming technology across all departments.
  • Promote and retail precision farming systems and components to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for precision ag adoption in new and existing accounts.
  • Consult with customers to understand their field operations and desired outcomes.
  • Deliver training and product demonstrations to both internal teams and customers.
  • Provide remote and in-person technical support for hardware/software issues related to precision ag systems.
  • Stay informed on the latest technologies, product updates, and warranty programs through ongoing engagement with equipment providers.
