Job Title: Precision Manufacturing Engineer

Role OverviewBEPC is seeking a highly skilled Precision Manufacturing Engineer to support a client’s aerospace program. This role focuses on enhancing the manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and quality of Ring Laser Gyroscope and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS)-based inertial sensor products. You’ll play a crucial role in analyzing, developing, and refining manufacturing processes, including glass machining, polishing, optics handling, and precision assembly.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Hands-on experience with optical systems, sensors, and/or electronic assemblies.
• Experience in glass machining, polishing, and assembly using precision techniques.
• Electronics testing, product yield improvement, and process documentation.
• Familiarity with change control procedures and technical document tracking.

• Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyroscope and Tactical Guidance Products production lines.
• Conduct yield and performance analysis to drive process capability improvements.
• Investigate technical issues and lead root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Improve product design and manufacturing/assembly processes for efficiency gains.
• Assist in development and documentation of new products and processes.
• Utilize Common Aerospace Manufacturing Practices (CAMP), Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies in process improvement.
• Maintain factory capacity through test equipment knowledge and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Support software and hardware testing processes as required.
