Description Entry level precision sheet metal apprentice position at Desert Precision Mfg., Inc. We are looking for someone interested in working in the sheet metal fabrication industry. Employee may be trained onsite in reading blueprints, deburring parts, assembly, hardware installation, packaging, etc, and must be willing to perform other duties around the shop as assigned. Pay is dependent upon experience. Working production shop hours are Monday-Friday from 7 am - 3:30 pm. Requirements Ability to perform manual labor tasks Ability to follow instructions and procedures Accurate counting skills Attention to detail Time efficiency Dependability Accountability Valuable Skills, preferred but not required: CNC Fiber Laser Operator (Bystronic) TIG Welding Powder Coating / Painting Silk Screen Printing Hardware Installation Countersinking and Tapping CNC Press Brake Operator (Bystronic and/or AMADA) Machining

Responsibilities

The apprentice will be trained in sheet metal fabrication tasks including reading blueprints, deburring, and assembly. They are also responsible for hardware installation, packaging, and general shop duties.
