Description
Overview We are looking to hire a co-op student to support the Preconstruction team for a duration of 8 months. What you will be doing Help coordinate and review RFQ/RFP details for multi-billion infrastructure projects under the guidance of the preconstruction bid manager. Support preparation of cost estimates and bid documentation. Assist in drafting tender documents and Requests for Information (RFI) under the supervision of the tender manager during the pre-construction phase, as needed. Collaborate to ensure all bid requirements are met and documented. Engage in document control and file management for bid submissions. Assist in preparing presentations or reports for internal and client meetings. Participate in meetings and take minutes as needed. Provide general administrative support to the bid management team. Learn and apply bid management principles in a practical environment. What we are looking for Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong interest in preconstruction and bid management. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively. Excellent MS Suite of tools including Excel, MS Word, Power Point and Sharepoint skills will be considered an asset. Strong proficiency in French, both written and spoken. Strong academic performance, demonstrating solid analytical and learning capabilities. Eagerness to learn in a dynamic construction environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment Understanding of AI tools applied to business. No previous experience is required.
