ABOUT THE ROLE

The Shipping and receiving coordinator will coordinate all incoming and outgoing deliveries for our shop. This critical role ensures accurate handling of shipments, proper documentation, and efficient coordination with the forklift and warehouse team to maintain smooth material flow.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Oversee and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments to/from the facility.
• Pre-stage outgoing deliveries, ensuring accuracy and readiness for dispatch.
• Receive, log, and inspect all incoming deliveries for damage, accuracy, and completeness.
• Coordinate with forklift operators to safely unload deliveries and direct material placement.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of materials, including visual inspections and weight verification.
• Communicate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or delays.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving and staging area.
• Support inventory control processes through accurate logging and labeling of received goods.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
