Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Fort Worth - Hulen - Fort Worth, TX 76109 Position Type: Full Time Job Category: Banking SUMMARY: The Prefunder position is responsible for the review of Commercial/Consumer Loan packages and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines as well as internal bank policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for educating others on how to communicate the findings of the loan packages with the lending staff, attorneys, and the Loan Operations team. JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Thorough knowledge of consumer and commercial lending operations related to programs, loan processing, closing, funding, review, imaging, credit tracking, servicing, and reporting. Communicate effectively with Loan Officers and Loan Assistants regarding loan file status and ensuring that loan documents are complete and accurate. Competence to review internal and external loan documents to ensure accuracy and consistency with loan approval conditions, bank policies & procedures, regulatory requirements, and servicing. Coordinate and facilitate loan closings with internal lending staff and external agents. Review closing documents for accuracy and completeness. This would include review of settlement statements, tax and insurance information, underwriting conditions, entity documentation & signature authority, and amortizations schedules. Perform due diligence to support loan closing through public data sites. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: Air-conditioned office environment. Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sit for extended periods of time. Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach. Simple grasping and fine manipulation. Extended keyboarding. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, emphasizing Excel, and Adobe, a plus. Effective communication (verbal/written), analytical, organizational, and presentation skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources while managing your time on more than one project at a time are highly preferred. At least two years of relevant experience. Ability to interact with other departments and interdepartmental to conduct objectives. Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively independently or as part of a team. Must exercise the highest level of discretion on confidential matters. Must be detail oriented and MUST be able to multi-task. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: General knowledge of Commercial Real Estate is highly preferred.
