Somerset Ambulatory Surgical Center has an immediate need for a full time PreOp/PACU RN! Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. RN PreOp/PACU at Somerset Ambulatory Surgical Center The PreOp/PACU RN is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RNPACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The PreOp/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Qualifications: * Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey. * Current CPR, ACLS, PALS required. * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing * Minimum 2 years of experience in Pre-Op/PACU or Critical Care. Experience working in an ASC is a plus. * Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and * innovative. * Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and * management of the surgical patient * Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation * Excellent teaching skills * Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology * Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and * physicians. Pay Range: $45.00 - $49.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
