Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and schedule preoperative appointments and procedures. - Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details. - Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding preoperative instructions and requirements. - Assist in the preparation of surgical charts and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed prior to surgery. - Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries related to preoperative processes. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure all preoperative protocols are followed. - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
