Orchard Heights is seeking a Full-time Prep Assistant to join our exceptional Culinary team! This role is designed to provide assistance to the Chef's with the preparation of our residents' daily meals. We are looking for an individual with attention to detail, to help us provide meals that reflect exemplary restaurant quality and are nutritionally balanced and attractively served. Our goal is to provide the best food and service to our residents, therefore, satisfying their needs, anticipating their wants, and honoring their requests is our specialty! Qualifications needed of our Chef: Cooking / Prep experience Ability to prepare and assist in cooking a variety of foods in large quantities Awareness of special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times and temperature controls Ability to estimate quantities of food required, utilize leftovers while serving attractive, appetizing meals, and ability to limit waste Everyone should have someone that gives them a positive dining experience while being served - That’s why we need someone like you to serve our resident’s their food with a dash of happiness!
