Position open until 5/15/2026 Salary: $17.50 per hour General Description and Classification Standards Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food service activities. Responsibilities include cooking, serving, and washing dishes, as well as assisting with stocking and offsite catering preparations. This position involves preparing meals for senior citizens and staff meetings on a weekly basis, along with providing meals for detainees and staff when needed. Additionally, the employee independently completes production logs and ensures compliance with meal verification and special diet requirements. Other duties include cleaning, mopping, trash removal, inventory management, and paperwork completion for both staff and inmate dining areas. This role demands multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the food service environment.
