An exciting retirement residence located in St. Boniface is looking for a fantastic individual to be our a part time prep cook.
A minimum of 2 years food handling/preparation experience. A working knowledge of banquet/buffet cooking. A current and valid food handling certificate is required. Clean, organized and punctual. Basic understanding of care and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment. Some scratch baking knowledge an asset. Ability to work as a team or independently. Cash Handling experience an asset.
Complete ability to communicate with co-workers and residents in a professional manner.
A City of Winnipeg Police Service current police record and vulnerable sector check is required prior to hire date
Candidates must be able to and continue to be available to work on weekdays and weekends.
OPEN Availability is Required between the hours of 6:30 AM-6:30 PM Monday-Sunday, Weekend work will be required
Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English fluently.
