• Prepare and chop vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as directed by the head chef/owner.
• Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations, ensuring that all food handling practices are followed meticulously.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
• Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
