Duties

  • Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards.
  • Cook menu items on the line, ensuring each dish is prepared accurately and promptly for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Support the team during busy hours by helping with plating and ensuring timely meal delivery.
  • Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices, safety regulations, and basic cooking techniques.
  • Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food presentation in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong understanding of serving standards and customer service principles.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving kitchen needs.
