JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· A minimum of three years’ experience;
· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, execute to exacting standards and multi-task;
· A self-starter, who can work independently, using sound judgement and responsibility
· Available for early morning, evening and weekend shifts;
* Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and manage the physical demands of the job
* Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
· A strong understanding of written and spoken English and the ability to interact with others.

Responsibilities

· Work with the Sous Chef to produce all fillings and pastry to the company hight standards of taste, consistency and yield;
* Follow recipes exactly as written, ensuring proper taste, texture, yield and quality
· Maintain the corporate standard for cleanliness and food safety and comply with all Alberta Health and Safety regulations;
* Adhere to all corporate policies and rules
· Ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Communicate any issues to the owners/Head Chef immediately;
· Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring forward any suggestions for improvement;
· Be a motivator and create a high performing team that works well together and enjoys the feeling of success when goals are achieved.
