Position: Full-Time Prep Cook
Location: Vegan Street (Inglewood)
Schedule: 5 days/week * Shifts start at 8:00 AM and go until the prep list is done (typically before 4:00 PM).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous kitchen experience and solid knife skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your prep list efficiently
  • Ability to keep your space clean, stocked, and organized
  • Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Available for morning/early afternoon shifts (8 AM–4 PM or until the list is done)
  • Willingness to jump on the line as needed is a big plus

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We’re hiring a reliable and skilled Prep Cook to join our back-of-house team. You’ll be the backbone of our kitchen, helping to keep things smooth and sharp behind the scenes. From soups and sauces to daily veg prep, your knife skills and consistency will set the pace for the day. Bonus: if you’re comfortable hopping on the line during lunch rushes, we can get you closer to 40 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily prep of vegetables, sauces, doughs, vegan meats, and other in-house ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organized prep station
  • Follow detailed prep lists and recipes accurately
  • Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth transitions into service
  • Jump on the line during lunch rushes if needed
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
