Our Prep Cooks are responsible for creating, assembling, presenting, and serving our fabulous food offerings in our deli. Key Details Part-time (minimum 20 hours a week) or Full-time opening Hours of operations range from 6am - 8pm This role must be available to work weekends and Tuesdays Job Summary Prepares items and ingredients for cooking. Cooks, garnishes, and plates products served. Responsible for maintaining sanitary kitchen workstation. Assists customers with ordering and selecting food options. Responsibilities Complies with all portion sizes, quality, ingredient standards, department rules, policies and procedures. Follows recipe specifications to prepare menu items in accordance with pre-determined costs. Prepares items for cooking by peeling, paring, coring, portioning, washing, sectioning, zesting, cutting, or scoring. Covers, dates and neatly stores and rotates all products. Requisitions items needed to produce food choices, notifies Kitchen steward as ordering needs occur. Maintains sanitary workstation. Performs other duties as assigned.
