As a prep cook at Sunset Senior Communities, you will have the opportunity to support residents by providing delicious meals while working in a positive team-oriented community. We are looking for dedicated and professional individuals that will put their personal touch on creating the best dining experience for our residents. Your consistent schedule will allow you to get to know those you serve, day after day. We invite you to apply to work as a Prep Cook at our Sunset Manor and Villages Jenison! Essential Functions include: Ability to work with knives properly. Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus. Including basic sauces, dressings, and marinades. Prepare and portion ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing food items for daily service. Ensure consistency and quality by following recipes and kitchen standards. The role will be part time with a shift of 12 pm - 6:30 pm. The scheduled days will be only weekends! Saturday and Sunday every other weekend. The holiday rotation requirement is 3 holidays per year.
