PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: As a Prep Cook, your main objective is to ensure the store's designated product pars are met and flawlessly executed daily, following standard restaurant recipes and safety policies. Your dedication to quality and consistency will be the secret ingredient that sets us apart. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with culinary management and line cooks to ensure all necessary items are prepped and ready for the shift. Follow recipes and guidelines meticulously to deliver food that is consistently top-notch. Utilize various cooking utensils and equipment to skillfully prepare an array of food items. Prioritize safety and sanitation, maintaining a hazard-free and contamination-free environment. Implement label date stickers and FIFO in food storage locations to enhance safety and minimize waste. Check in food deliveries and store them in designated locations, ensuring smooth inventory management. Maintain, stock, and clean the prep station, creating an organized and efficient workspace. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Attentive listening skills to accurately follow recipe cards and instructions. Good knife and cooking skills that reflect your culinary expertise. Keen eye for detail to maintain top-quality preparation and presentation. Positive attitude that spreads enthusiasm and elevates team spirit. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have reliable means of transportation. Ability to read and understand recipe cards. Previous kitchen experience in a high-volume setting is preferred. Ability to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift.
