Tarantino currently manages over $2 Billion in real estate assets. Stone Valley Senior Living Community is seeking a Prep Cook to be responsible for assisting the Cook with preparation of nutritious, appealing and quality food for residents and guests, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and complying with all company and state food regulations. Essential Functions: Assists cook in preparation and coordination all meals from standardized recipes. Assists in preparation of all condiments and garnishes used in plating meals. Works the food line during mealtime. Ensures proper food temperature is maintained and recorded. Keeps work area and serving line equipment clean and adheres to sanitation cleaning schedules. Coordinates prep for the following day’s menu. Keeps stock rooms, coolers and freezers clean and rotated. All food must be labeled, dated and stored in accordance with local, state and county health department policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
Responsibilities
The Prep Cook assists the Cook in preparing meals and ensures cleanliness in the kitchen. They also coordinate food preparation for the following day’s menu.
